Zoopla has delivered nearly £80,000 in agent fees through Modern Method of Auction [MMoA] sales after its partnership with iamsold.

Zoopla has suggested that demand for MMoA sales is rising, having recorded over £12m in auction stock via iamsold.

The portal outlined that it is offering an auctions bonus to agent partners, which includes a 10% discount on portal fees.

This applies to agent customers who sign up or have already signed up to the MMoA service via Zoopla.

Jamie Cooke, managing director at iamsold, said: The project teams at Zoopla and iamsold have formed strong relationships, as we work towards our shared goal of driving consumer awareness around the benefits of the Modern Method of Auction. We’re already seeing success for our mutual clients and only anticipate this to grow further, as we implement our future strategy.

A core component of the partnership is focused around our industry-first Best Practice Guide, helping to ensure consumers have a positive and consistent experience of the MMoA and there’s transparency throughout the process, Cooke said.

Andy Marshall, chief commercial officer of Zoopla, added: We established our industry-first partnership with iamsold in July 2020, and it quickly delivered dividends to agents and consumers alike.

We’d like more of our customers to reap the benefits of Modern Method of Auction transactions and the opportunity to diversify their portfolio of sales, and we hope our 10% discount on portal fees will encourage more of our agent partners to embed the auction model, he said. It’s a simple proposition with no strings attached: sell three properties with iamsold on Zoopla; get 10% off your Zoopla fees for the following year.
