Newcastle-based agency Walton Robinson is offering a buy to let property sourcing service. This year, the agency claims it has secured rental increases of over 21 per cent in some cases for their landlords, compared with the regional average of 6.6 per cent.

Kyle Dickson, responsible for Valuations and Property Sourcing, says: We are seeing a perfect storm of increased demand and lower supply, with many Newcastle students and tenants competing for homes, particularly larger stock and HMOs.

As a result, we may see that Newcastle rental prices pick up even more over the next year, enticing yet more landlords to expand their portfolio, or even attracting new landlords to the market, Dickson said.

With this in mind, and with Walton Robinson’s knowledge and experience of the student and investment market, it makes complete sense to introduce a personalised service designed to help landlords find their next investment property, Dickson said.

The agency says the service is completely bespoke and aimed at those looking to buy properties in Newcastle or expand their portfolio.

The agency will constantly monitor the market, attend viewings on behalf of clients and handle the sales process from instruction to completion, all according to their landlords’ needs and budgets.

General manager Amy Gibson adds: We pride ourselves in being able to offer a tailor-made service to each client we work with. By working closely with landlords to learn their expectations, budgets and visions, it allows us to take the reins and search the market on their behalf.

Gibson says: We also often find ourselves in a very unique position with rare off market opportunities being presented to us. These opportunities are shared with our client list, so not only are we saving landlords lots of time in the search process, but we also present them with opportunities that they would never have otherwise known about.
